In this class, students are taught how to develop and improve creative skills through a variety of theatrical lessons. Every week students are given the opportunity to apply their imaginations so they can perform with confidence, participate collaboratively, and enhance problem-solving abilities. Activities and topics covered may include guided sensory journeys, retelling stories, statue, creative play, storytelling, pantomime, collaboration, and improvisation. For students in grades K through 2, this class is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the world of theatre, reinforce skills, and prepare for stage performances in a fun, nurturing environment.

Every week students will explore monologues and scenes, songs, and dances from your favorite musicals. Each semester’s theme changes, so this class is repeatable, and over several years, students will have been exposed to all musical theater styles and repertoire.
