This class meets online via ZOOM. Students receive dedicated “triple threat” training in each of the musical theater disciplines: acting, vocal arts, and dance. Every day students will explore scenes, songs, and dances from the musical Newsies!

Join Award-winning costume designer KRISTIN KNIPP and the always creative & crafty KAREN CLAYTON in this fun, interactive theater design class for elementary and middle school students. Students will learn about the roles costume, prop and makeup designers play in creating an imaginary world and how they support the director's vision in a musical. After picking their show, students will research, attend a production meeting and design their own costume plots and storyboards!
