Class

An upbeat 4-week program for those interested in Hip-Hop with a musical theatre twist. Along with learning basic Hip-Hop footwork and groove technique, dancers will be taught musical theatre style performance skills by local professional artist, Emma Nichols-Payne. 

In this Saturday afternoon class, students receive 40 minutes of dedicated “triple threat” training in each of the musical theater disciplines: acting, vocal arts, and dance! Every week students will explore monologues and scenes, songs, and dances from your favorite musicals. Each semester’s theme changes, so this class is repeatable, and over several years, students will have been exposed to all musical theater styles and repertoire.
