SPRING 2021: Exploring Musical Theater (Grades K-2)
HITSFor students in grades K-2, this class is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the world of theatre, reinforce skills, and prepare for stage performances in a fun, nurturing environment. In this class, students develop and improve creative skills through a variety of theatrical activities. Every week, students apply their imaginations so they can perform with confidence, participate collaboratively, and enhance problem-solving abilities.
SPRING 2021: Anything Can Happen In The Theater: The Musical World of Maury Yeston
HITSHITS Theatre Productions are a chance for students to develop their acting, singing, and dancing skills through a traditional rehearsal process. Each production is supported by a professional director, choreographer, music director, stage manager, and designers. As an ensemble, the students each play an important role in telling a story for a live audience by learning music, choreography, and staging. Our professional creative team guides our students through character development, proper vocal technique, and strengthening motor skills & coordination.
SPRING 2021: Backstage Spotlight: Costumes & Makeup & Props (Grades 3-8)
HITSStudents will learn about the roles costume, prop and makeup designers play in creating an imaginary world and how they support the director's vision in a musical.
