How I Became a Pirate Musical Theater Workshop ZOOM Class (Grades 1-5)

Students receive dedicated “triple threat” training in each of the musical theater disciplines: acting, vocal arts, and dance. Every day students will explore scenes, songs, and dances from the musical How I Became a Pirate.  Sail off on a fantastic musical excursion with a band of comical pirates looking for an expert digger to join their crew. The whole family will love this delightful and swashbuckling musical adventure!

Musical Theater Dance: Contemporary (1-5 Grades)

Join HITS favorite Ms. Emma on Zoom to improve your motor skills and dance ability through the specific style of Contemporary. Developed during the mid-twentieth century, Contemporary dance incorporate elements from many styles of dance and cultures. Contemporary dance tends to combine the strong but controlled legwork of ballet with aspects of modern dance including contract-release, floor work, and improvisation. Two famous Broadway choreographers of this genre are Lorin Lotarro (Waitress) and Sonya Tayeh (Moulin Rouge).
